I began my professional career as a clinical registered dietitian in the conventional healthcare system. I witnessed firsthand how this system often relies on surface-level, prescriptive approaches to health and quick fixes that can hinder or even prevent deeper healing. These approaches frequently lack basic human empathy and an understanding of the root causes of dysregulation and disease, which can arise as normal and natural responses to life's many stressors, especially in sensitive individuals.
My definition of nourishment extends beyond the surface of diet and exercise to include things like emotional well-being, embodiment, ritual, spiritual exploration, and creative expression.
I focus on holistic nourishment that encompasses mind, body, and spirit. As your healing guide, I help you see all the ways in which you are already complete and I believe that healing happens when a person is heard and cared for in a spirit of genuine love, joyful presence, and nonjudgment.
